Family

Having a large family myself, I know exactly how important it is to capture all of those little moments year-to-year. I also know the challenges associated in working with children in a wide age-range during the same sitting. All children have strengths, and it’s best to work with those in order to capture the outer and inner beauty of every child and bring the family together.

I prefer to come to your family and work in a setting that’s familiar, where everyone feels comfortable. The added bonus to this option is that you can have exactly what you want in your pictures—from your favorite chair to your family pet, or on location at your favorite park.

I have worked with many children, including those with special needs, and I know the beauty they have to offer. The key to my successful shoots is that I ask questions before I arrive. I also never force things to happen or put a time limit on these types of sessions. I know that some are brief, while others can take hours to get that one good photo. Often, the most beautiful pictures are captured when a child believes the session is over and everyone is just sitting around talking (sneaky little photographer!).
